YAYYYYYY, YESTERDAY I CHIONG AND CHIONG AND CHIONG AND FINALLY FINISHED MY MEP REPORT PLUS ESSAY. it is amazing how i managed to sleep so late O,O without feeling tired.

tday was erm, sleepy and sian and sad. when everyone was like half dead, suddenly there was a MATHS POP QUIZ T_____T on Mensuration. i forgt my fomula -.- unfortunately, sci was a killer tday coz mr tay gav bak test paper :X

tday we are very honoured to hav a guest conductor from UK to conduct us. Through the short two hors, i really learnt alot. One thing he kept emphasizing on was before you start each note, think of how you want the sound to be, and wad kind of sound the audience will like to hear. He also said that to play the piece musically, the melody line should be phrased and played expressively. To help the melody line, the accompaniment should play musically as well to support the tone quality of the melody line.

When he was doin A of Finlandia, he told us that we are painting a scenery of northern finland, which is very near the artic. The place is very cold, bt we have to play the sounds warm. hahaha. Den when it comes to the intense part, he told the double basses that the tremolos they are playing are the sounds of very dried ice. hmm i wonder how ice sounds, bt perhaps we juz gt to imagine :D

One thing that i oso liked is his definition of expressivo. He said tat expressivo means that there are both fortes and pianos in the phrase. wad a clever definition! :D

anw i enjoyed playing mozart's symphony 40 as well. He said another influential speech: "to me, silence is music" tatz why he held the silence for so long before giving a directions to let the strings. perhaps he regard silence as music becoz the break will allow the audience to think wad is goin to happen nxt and it gives suspense. Or it also allow the previous melody to linger in the audience for a while more before introducing the nxt melody.

at the end of the session, he suggested to us that we hum the tunes on the way home and if ppl walk past and think we are crazy or whatsoever, let them be as MUSICIANS ARE MEANT TO BE CRAZY. HAHA nice one realli :D

hah i m really fortunate to be able to seat beside a professional bassoon player. His tone is really influential as its so penetrating and full. i hav such a long way to go haha. Hope tat he can giv me some advise on how to improve my playing. :D

bt now i m alittle unrestful coz i said something that could be mistaken to something else although i didn mean it. hope he doesn think the other way :X blehbleh sry :X

as boring as usual, bt it was even more boring aft sch. volleyball prac was cancelled so i gt nowhere to go :X and had to stay in clz and arrange sci wksht DD:

i tried hard to eat my lunch as slowly as possible to waste time coz its juz too early to go for concert rehearsal. i was so stupid lor, i alighted at city hall and it took ages for me to get to victoria concert hall. the roads were liked blocked, (i oso dunno why) so i couldn cross the road and i went all the way to fullerton before u-turning :X

den i was  loitering outside victoria, coz i dunno where to go, and i started calling all my fwens haha. its alittle scary, coz its like no one is there. luckily, I SAW JIMMY WALKING so we went up to the second floor tgt haha.

its not long aft the others came. It seemed that every concert gt funny things happening de. (rachel: still  rememb last concert we went subway wif yunsong and hillary? HAHA) for this concert, the major event is, WE ACCOMPANIED BING HONG TO BATA TO BUY HIS SHOES COZ THE WHOLE OF HIS SHOE'S SOLE NEARLY CAME OUT HAHA. den when he walk is like dragging the shoes on the floor. when we reached bata, it was SUPER FUNNY. we went to the top floor, and the shoes that we saw are all $69+ but bing hong ONLY gt 60 bucks. <-- rich rite? den we were like asking the shopkeeper what is the cheapest pair of black shoes he have HAHA. he oso asked: wah u come buy shoe still nid 4 bodyguard one ar? den we all laughin like mad hehehehe.

concert was a success, bt so sad not even half of the hall is filled haishhaish. nvm at least we all enjoyed ourselves haha.

i cant believe tat i m missing SO MANY THINGS: RECESS, SCI, MEP TEST, ACC COMPETITION because of the IVP FAIR T.T

the first thing we reached there was to find FOOOD. i ate almost 1.5 packet of rice haha. i was dead hungry. we are proud of GORDON coz HE IS THE EMCEE FOR THE EVENT! YAYYS

the nxt thing i cant believe tat i slept for the whole talk by the first presenter :X luckily aft tat i was awake wakaka.

amazingly, some lazy ppl like our blanket haha. the best quote was: "actually inventions are made for lazy ppl." HAHA.

luckily the buffet was good, and we ate until our stomach burst. ---- 3 SERVINGS hahahaha. bt then leh, i gt scolded by a primary sch boyboy. i was standing at the side of the buffet table, den i was like talking to my fwen, and then this boy came and shouted in a high pitched voice: "DUN TUCK QUE" i was like O___O i m nt even queing can? BLEHHHH

at the exhibition i was scolded again. at first this cute and small nanyang boy came to our booth and asked us to go to his booth. I went there and den asked another boy if i can take a look at their prototype, this joker turned around and shouted "LOL" right into my face and turned around. i was like O___________________O again. omg why pri sch kids so scary one? O___O

on the mrt i slept when i was STANDING and when i dozed off i nearly fell coz my leg suddenly bend. i think ppl see me as a weirdo haha

i seriously dun feel like doin anything now~ wanna sleep *yawnnnnn*

TODAY'S LESSON IS SO BORINGGGGGG. and becoz of mep I skipped lunch again T.T and i m goin to skip nxt friday too :(

however, AT LEAST ART CLUB IS FUN! we finally get to do PRINTING today and it was cool Cool COOL! me, wy and jz had the same TELE DESIGN :D

However, i m very sad as some of them wasted alot of paint, and mrs goh scolded us for being so wasteful. THE COURSE COSTS THE SCH ALOT and she said that NXT YR WE ARE NOT HAVIN ANY COURSES LE T___T BT NO MATTER WAD HAPPENS, I WILL STAY ON WIF ART CLUB AND SUPPORT IT COZ IT GAVE ME SO MUCH THINGS! :D
